Michael Perusich, DC

Dr. Michael Perusich is the Clinic Director of BackBone Of Health Chiropractic Wellness Center. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas – Austin and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. The love of children led him to pursue a Fellowship Certification and advanced training in the Chiropractic management of pediatric and pregnancy cases from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

With his athletic background, Dr. Perusich also enjoys assisting athletes of all types to overcome sports injuries and improve their athletic performance. He has worked with Olympic athletes as a treating physician for the World’s Greatest Athletes Decathlon Club, the Missouri Minute Men, the Extreme Sports Team and you can currently catch him on the sideline of the State Fair [Sedalia, MO] Community College Roadrunners, where he is serving as the Official Team Physician for their athletic teams.

A published author and regular lecturer regarding health and wellness issues all over the country, Dr. Perusich has received numerous clinical and civic awards. He served as the Vice President of the American Chiropractic Council on Pediatrics and actively serves on various boards in his community including Past President of the Boys & Girls Club, Co-Chair of the American Heart Association’s Pettis County Heart Walk,
co-chair of the Sedalia Blue Ribbon Vision Community Health & Wellness team and the Leadership Council at First United Methodist Church.

Dr. Perusich has also been associated with the American Chiropractic Council on Rehabilitative Therapeutics, American Academy of Pain Management, Who’s Who in American Business and is a former Consultant and Lecturer for Integrity Management.
